Here at Vision 21 we recognise that people with learning disabilities have a lot to offer in the workplace.
At the heart of our training is the belief that work has the power to change people’s lives for the better. We continually promote and support people with learning needs to acquire skills and provide them with training in our realistic work based settings. We encourage and support them to move towards work, or voluntary opportunities, in the community.
Our creative and innovative work centred learning projects, opens up the potential for employment to become a reality. Through this approach we aim to provide equality of opportunities.
We work closely with local schools and colleges to create pathways for transition into the world of vocational training and routes to employment.
Vision 21 provides the framework for trainees to try new activities and learn new skills. They also have the opportunity to gain qualifications to help them decide on a future path and reach their goals.
