26 Jul Life Skills Fundraising
Vision 21 Life Skills student, Howard Macarthur and his mum kindly donated some bags of Jewellery and tins of food for fundraising.
The Life Skills project then held jumble sales over May and June and raised an amazing £101.33 which was used towards the purchase of six computer chairs for the training room. Howard also met one of his training goals by purchasing some new headphones for the project using online shopping.
In June the Life Skills project made one of its regular visits to Rainbow of Hope and gave them 6 bags of soups, tinned vegetables and fruits and toiletries also kindly donated by Howard and his mum. During the visit the students spent time talking with some of the homeless people getting to know the demand their lives and helping to serve tea and biscuits.

Another group from the Life Skills team also took some canned tins donated by Howards mum and sister to the Junk food café in Cathays who were extremely grateful.
