V21 Crafts2 @ Fairwater
Our V21 Crafts2 @ Fairwater project lead by Jenny, is a lively, creative space where trainees explore mixed-media art and craft techniques from around the world. With Jenny’s guidance, they develop creative skills while making unique items to sell.
Trainees work as part of a team that are always trying out new ideas – from tie-dyed textiles and batik-dyed tote bags, to resin jewellery and Jesmonite coasters. They get to experiment, try new techniques, and see their ideas take shape.
Crafts 2 is a colourful, hands-on space… where glitter is always invited.
Together, we will develop a training plan to suit you. You could learn skills such as:
- 3D resin art.
- Jesmonite
- Batik - Indonesian wax-resist dyeing.
- Shibori - traditional Japanese tie-dye.
- Packaging items for sale.
- Collage and mosaic design.
- Drawing and painting.
- Moulding and sculpting.
- Various crafts
When?
Trainees can attend the V21 Crafts2 @ Fairwater Monday - Friday from 9:00am – 3:00pm.
