V21 Learning Projects Cover Worker
Location: Various Cardiff
Salary: £26,822 per annum (April 2026) Plus pension plan.
Hours: 37 ½ hours per week 8.30am – 4.00pm (Monday to Friday), with occasional work at weekends.
We are looking for a flexible, motivated individual to provide cover for staff absences (holiday and sick leave) across our four V21 Learning projects: V21 Technology, V21 Office Skills, V21 Reception Skills, and V21 Life Skills. When cover or support is not required, your main base will be in V21 Technology, where you will be a project worker alongside the rest of the team.
In this role, you will support trainees with learning difficulties to help them grow and achieve their potential. You will support a variety of fun and practical sessions, including digital media like TikTok and animation, office tasks, and essential life skills. If you are a creative person who loves helping others learn new things, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and support trainees
- Support development and deliver engaging workshops
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote V21
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or other vulnerable groups
- Have interest and passion for technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A creative and innovative mindset
