Make Your Own Ceramic Plant Pot
Create a your own 2 piece plant pot set exploring coiling, surface imprinting, and other hand-building techniques.
Join us for for a fun and memorable experience creating a bespoke plant pot.
At this workshop you will learn to design and hand-build your very own unique plant pot complete with drainage tray. You will have the opportunity to explore a range of ceramic techniques including slab-building, coiling, and imprinting textures such as freshly picked leaves and flowers from our garden. Our talented pottery instructors will expertly guide you through the process so that by the end of the session you will be the proud creator of a beautiful garden pot with drainage tray for your home or garden. You will be able to choose from a selection of finishing glazes available at our pottery to complete your design.
We work in small groups, so it’s fun and friendly, and we’ll have your finished pieces fired and glazed and ready for you to collect after 4 weeks . Our sessions are suitable for complete beginners, but we also welcome more experienced potters.
You will also be able to view and purchase handmade products and plants from our other V21 projects, at an exclusive 20% discount.
Good to know:
- You will make 1 x plant pot complete with matching drainage tray/saucer.
- Materials and tools will be provided on the day.
- Your creations will be fired and glazed by our V21 Pottery team and ready for you to collect within 4 weeks.
- Workshops are open to any ability 14 years and above.
- Free parking available on site, with close train and bus routes.
- Please note: pottery making can get messy, you will be provided with an apron but it is advisable to wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.
