V21 Crafts2 @ Fairwater
Our V21 Crafts 2 @ Fairwater project is a lively, creative space where trainees explore mixed-media art and craft techniques from around the world. Trainees work as part of a team, always trying out new ideas—from tie-dyed textiles and batik-dyed tote bags, to resin jewellery and Jesmonite coasters. They get to experiment, try new techniques, and see their ideas take shape.
Led by Jenny, who offers expert guidance, trainees develop their creative skills while making unique items to sell. It’s a space where people work together, share ideas, and grow their confidence through making.
Crafts 2 is a colourful, hands-on space where everyone is encouraged to get involved... and where glitter is always invited.
The training is shaped to meet individual needs, providing chances to gain skills like:
- 3D resin art.
- Jesmonite
- Batik - Indonesian wax-resist dyeing.
- Shibori - traditional Japanese tie-dye.
- Packaging items for sale.
- Collage and mosaic design.
- Drawing and painting.
- Moulding and sculpting.
- Various crafts
When?
Trainees can attend the V21 Crafts2 @ Fairwater Monday - Friday from 9:00am – 3:00pm.
