V21 Crafts @ Barry

Would you like to learn how to make trinkets from trash?
Become a trainee at our V21 Crafts @ Barry project and you will have the opportunity to have fun creating and crafting with a focus on sustainability, upcycling waste products to transform them into exciting new items.
You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team to learn new skills, generate ideas and produce gifts and artwork that are kinder to our planet - from recycled handmade paper and seed bombs, to scrap-wool signage, and inner-tube earrings, the possibiities are endless.

Together, we will develop a training plan to suit you. You could learn skills such as:
- Painting techniques.
- Knitting using hand-cranked mills.
- Paper-making.
- Exploring design ideas.
- Packaging items for sale.
- Wire sculpting.
- Drawing and painting.
- Jewellery-making
- Sewing and textiles.
- Various crafts.
When?
Trainees attend the V21 Crafts @ Barry project on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00am – 3:00pm.
