V21 Catering
Our catering projects are designed for trainees interested in food preparation, cooking, baking, and customer service. Trainees can gain experience working in a café environment, interacting with the general public, or develop catering skills in the kitchen by providing meals to residents.
All our catering projects take place in working settings, giving trainees a taste of a real-world catering environment.
Trainees are all given an induction into their chosen project during their first or second week. This is linked to their training schedule and introduces them to project procedures and safe use of tools and machinery.
V21 Growing
Our growing projects are designed for those who enjoy spending time outdoors and working with nature. Trainees can help grow plants for sale or care for a community garden. Both our growing projects take place in hands-on garden settings, providing practical experience in horticulture and plant care.
V21 Learning
Our learning projects include life skills, technology and office skills. Trainees can learn computer skills, from basic IT to filmmaking, or gain experience working in fully operational V21 reception. These projects provide hands-on opportunities to develop practical skills for everyday life and real work settings.
V21 Making
Our woodwork projects are designed for those who enjoy working with their hands and building items. Trainees can gain practical experience helping in the production of items for customers in fully equipped workshops. Both projects give trainees the chance to develop hands-on skills while being part of real woodworking projects.
V21 Creating
Our creative projects are designed for those who enjoy arts and crafts. Trainees can work with different media, such as clay, printing, resin, and paper crafts, to create items for others to buy. They will gain practical experience in planning, designing, and producing their work, while developing artistic skills and seeing their creations come to life.
